Some of the ways you contribute to student Success on the
Pitt Pathway:
• Give students frequent feedback about their progress
toward their degree.
• Encourage students to obtain letters of recommendation
from faculty and employers.
• Provide students with opportunities to network with
colleagues
or employers.
• Arrange for students to practice interviewing to prepare
for the job search or graduate school admissions process.
• Encourage students to attend job and graduate school
fairs on campus.
• Identify resources that help students to research
graduate programs or search for employment.
• Encourage students to participation in student chapters
of professional organizations.
• Give students the opportunity to attend professional
conferences and workshops.
